Our Stage Door series continues this season with Little Moon, an indie folk rock band from Springville, UT that won the NPR Tiny Desk Contest in 2023. Little Moon is the project (and childhood nickname) of singer-songwriter Emma Hardyman. Her soaring vocals and rich arrangements are hallmarks of a sound that falls somewhere between a Zelda soundtrack and Vashti Bunyan. In this immersive concert experience, she’s joined by a 10-piece ensemble and movement artists from the University of Utah's School of Dance. As SLUG Magazine put it, “Little Moon is like a warm hug from a good friend or feeling the sunlight blush your face.... pure emotional processing and ecstasy.”
Our presenting partner 801 Salon is a multidisciplinary art and performance series founded in 2021. They present pop-up exhibits and performances around Salt Lake City, providing an accessible, inclusive, and sustainable platform for emerging and established local artists.
